Merthyr Union Workhouse

Dated 1870 and originally part of the Merthyr Union Workhouse this Grade II listed building decorated in the Gothic style now forms part of St Tydfil’s Hospital site providing office and storage space. DMP where appointed to coordinate extensive restoration works internally and externally using specialist craftsmen and contractors to refurbish elements such as the freestone dressings and traceried windows.
