Following a careful refurbishment, this iconic coaching inn, which has welcomed Kings, poets and so many others over the years, has been restored. Taking design cues from the history of Boscastle and the local landscape, the building echoed aspects of maritime and coaching trade.

The design takes its lead from the palette and materiality of the local landscape, giving this retreat a softness, occasionally lifted by pops of deep green or bold earthy reds for a contemporary edge.

A newly designed terrace extended the drinking and dining areas to accommodate seasonal trade and give instant kerb appeal.
